This is a lovely condition battlefield found belt buckle which is a German Wehrmacht soldiers 1940-1943 produced steel belt buckle, de-Nazified for post war use which is more semi-relic then relic.
The buckle is in very nice relic condition overall very good condition still very solid and retains its original colour and still has its pebble dash finish on the front the markings have been scratched away but on the back the badge the eagle and swastika with the other insignia all can be seen .The buckle back clip is damaged but still moves it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection and a rare buckle to find recovered from the battlefield. The buckle was found on a flea market near the Berlin railway station in 2021 and would have been used during the Battle of Berlin in April 1945 or in the fighting of the last days of the war. The buckle comes with A5 laminated information card.
