German Wehrmacht fuel can manufactured by F&R Fischer and dated 1942. Taken from a vehicle of the 116th panzer division after the war by a farmer in the village of Mont near Houffalize in the Ardennes. Recovered by a local collector and kept until it left the area in 2020.
Can in solid condition with no holes. Base has been painted at some point in time, presumably to preserve the metal.
