German rifle clamp bracket from the inside of an Sd.Kfz. 250 halftrack. Most likely from a vehicle of the 2nd SS Panzer Division “Das Reich,” as it was recovered from a roadside ditch to the Northeast of Houffalize. The division conducted a fighting withdrawal from the village between the 3 January & 16 January 1945 during the Battle of the Bulge.
Hinge and lock sized but could be freed with work. Great remains of paintwork
