This is a very hard to get part from the very famous scrapyard in Normandy.This is a German rear taillight from an Opel or Mercedes staff car properly a converted civilian car in use with the Wehrmacht not sure exactly what type of vehicle its from as so many different German vehicles were scrapped there. The light block is in relic but solid condition it is missing its glass covers and bulbs with no significant damage still with its nice steel colour it has been carefully cleaned, making it ideal for display or any military collection and is just over 8 inches long by 3 inches wide. The light block was found in the late 1980’s on the site of the Trun scrapyard from a vehicle lost in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy from the Summer battle of 1944.. The light comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures..
