German Panzerfaust anti-tank rocket tube battle damaged in an explosion with camouflage paintwork, recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge 1944
This is a rare find from the battlefield in this condition, German Panzerfaust anti-tank rocket tube which is a blown apart section which has some original brown/yellow camouflage paintwork remains fairly clear to see. The part has ripped and blown apart by an explosion it is in relic condition it is rusty but solid and in overall very good, solid condition for recovered battlefield find it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The tube was recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-45. The lens come with A5 laminated information card.
The tube was recovered from a lake which was used as a dump site for battlefield clearance the area where the lake is, was attacked by the German 26th Volksgrenadier Division and elements of the Panzer Lehr Division they had the only anti-aircraft guns in the area.
