This is a rare find from the battlefield in this condition, German Panzerfaust anti-tank rocket tube remains about half a tube the rest has blown apart in an explosion it has some original paintwork remains black paint fairly clear to see. The part has ripped and bent up by an explosion it is in relic condition, rusty but solid and are in overall nice condition for recovered battlefield find it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The tube was recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-45. The tube come with A5 laminated information card.
The tube was recovered from a lake which was used as a dump site for battlefield clearance the area where the lake is, was attacked by the German 26th Volksgrenadier Division and elements of the Panzer Lehr Division during the battle of 1944-1945.
