German MP40 machine gun magazine which is empty and nice relic condition recovered from the village of Trun in Falaise Pocket, Normandy in 1944
This is a German MP40 machine gun magazine which is rusty and relic condition. The magazine has non of its internal parts and empty of all ammunition with no original paintwork it is rusty but solid and has rust damage with a few small holes it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The magazine was recovered from a field near Trun, believed to be a pit dug by the Allies where large amounts of German equipment were discarded and buried following the Battle of the Falaise Pocket, Normandy, France, in 1944. A rare and interesting relic from the famous Normandy battlefield, it comes with an A5 laminated information sheet.
