German MG 42 machine gun cocking handle, relic condition recovered from a field near Trun in the Falaise pocket in Normandy 1944 battlefield.
This is a German MG 42 machine gun cocking handle which is complete. The handle is deactivated by condition obviously plain to see with no original colour. The machine gun part is in nice condition for a relic rusty and it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition perfect for collection and perfect for display. The bolt was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice, rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
