This is a rare to find and fantastic condition semi-relic German MP13 machine gun magazine. Which is only very lightly rusty and semi- relic condition at worst still with original black paintwork in places and its original silver steel colour. The magazine is complete with all its internal parts and empty of all ammunition it is nice and solid and has no real rust damage or holes it only has some light pitting it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The magazine was recovered near a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge 1944-45.The magazine comes with A5 laminated information card.
The magazine was recovered near a lake which was used as a dump site for battlefield clearance the area where the lake is, was attacked by the German 26th Volksgrenadier Division and elements of the Panzer Lehr Division.
