This is an interesting and unusual battlefield find: a German M-24 practice hand grenade head. The grenade is in very good condition for a relic, featuring a metal ring head with the wooden remains of the handle. It is completely empty and inert, having never been live. The wood is solid, not breaking apart, and the piece has been carefully cleaned. It is an excellent item for display or any collection.
The grenade was recovered from near Kiel, from a Kriegsmarine training ground.
