This is a rare find from a battle of Britain German bomber a bakelite and metal made German Luftwaffe AZ66B aerial bomb fuse in a cluster bomb. The part still retains a lot of its original colours and paintwork but the end spinners are missing it is in nice solid condition that has been very well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The fuse was used in a SD3, SD4, SD4HL, SD6, SD10 & SC10 cluster bomb recovered from German Heinkel 111 bomber of 4/KG55 flown by Hauptmann W.Sabler who was the Staffelkapitan. The Heinkel was shot down at 4.55pm on the 16th August 1940 by RAF Hurricanes and crashed near Petworth during battle of Britain.The part which comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures.
