German Krigsmarine rubberized great coat sleeve from a crew man on U534 which was sunk by RAF Liberator bombers in the Katteget sea off Denmark on the 5th May 1945
This is rare German Krigsmarine rubberized great coat sleeve which is in semi-relic condition amazing to have survived so well. The coat sleeve still retains its original gray colour it is very solid, not breaking up or falling apart The coat section which is 19 inches long and very nice condition part which is perfect for display or any collection. The coat comes from inside German U-boat number U-534. This was sunk by RAF Liberator bombers in the Katteget sea off Denmark on the 5th May 1945 in the last days of the War.
German submarine U-534 Type IXC/40 U-boat for Germany's Kriegsmarine built in 1942 in Hamburg-Finkenwerder (Deutsche Werft AG - yard number 352). Launched 23rd September 1942 and commissioned on 23rd December in the same year.
