German K98 rifle trigger and bullet holder that was recovered from near village of Trun in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy 1944

This is a German K98 rifle trigger and bullet holder which is a pretty complete part it is empty of all ammunition. The rifle part is deactivated by condition obviously plain to see with no moving parts all. The rifle part is in nice condition for a relic rusty it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition perfect for collection and perfect for display. The rifle breach section was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944.
