This is a German K98 rifle barrel which is not complete it is part of the barrel with top part of breach it is empty of all ammunition. The rifle part is deactivated by condition obviously plain to see also the barrel is blocked in side as well and no moving parts all. The rifle part is in nice condition for a relic rusty it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition and a nice one for the collection perfect for display. The rifle was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture.
