This is a German K98 rifle bolt which is complete with all parts its middle section has pulled back and is the bent handle version. The rifle part is deactivated by condition but still very nice condition with only pitting and with clear to see some original colour places. The rifle part is in nice condition which is semi relic only very lightly rusty and it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition perfect for collection and perfect for display.The rifle bolt was recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice unusal relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and it comes with A5 laminated information card with picture
