This is an unusual find from the battlefield. a German K98 bayonet possibly used by a soldier in the Panzer Lehr Division, it is complete other then its handle covers with a pretty much complete blade which is rusty and pitted but nothing to bad. The bayonet still retains some original colour in places with some maker markings still partly visible it is in relic but solid condition and has been very well cleaned perfect for display or an unusual bit for any collection. The bayonet was recovered from a lake East of Bastogne in the Ardennes Forest from the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944-45. The lens come with A5 laminated information card.
