This is a very rare battlefield find a pair of German egg grenade fuse holders. These are in relic condition, both largely complete but with some small missing sections. Despite surface rust, they remain solid and stable, not crumbling or falling apart. The pair was recovered from inside a German bunker near the village of Bucquay, which served as a German artillery position during the later stages of the 1916 Battle of the Somme.
