This is a lovely condition German 8cm granatwerfer 14 Mortar 3 shell carry case on the outside featuring remnants of green camouflage paint and some red undercoat primer.The inside of the box is in fantastic condition complete with all its original racking and original green paintwork with the remains of its paper label inside the lid with a last pack date of August 1944.. The outside of the box is rusty and relic but only light surface rust but the inside is not relic at all it is perfect condition with all original colours. The box carry handle is still in place and the box locks and unlocks perfectly well and the hinges work fine. The box has been carefully cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection a rare find from the battlefield.
