This is a German radar or radio large dial or frequency tuner which is a large heavy part which is steel and mag allow made it is very large for a dial at 7 inches wide in size.The dial still with some of its markings still visible and some original colouring preserved. The part is in relic but solid condition with some pitting and rust but has been carefully cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection.The part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information cards.The dial was recovered from a dump pit on an old German radar site in the Town of Leer near Bremen which was part of the Luftwaffe Kammhuber line. The German night fighter radar system for detecting Allied bombing raids over Germany.
