Inert 8.8cm shell casing, recovered from the woods around Arnhem, Holland in the 1980’s by a local collector.
The 8.8cm flak gun was used in both anti-aircraft and ground supporting / anti-tank role throughout the battle for Arnhem September 1944
The case is in solid, cleaned condition
