This is a German 12cm-15cm-21cm shell projectile base plug.
The plug is maker marked fairly clear to see. It still has the remains of its original steel colour with no real damage. It has been very well cleaned. It is perfect for display or any collection. The plug is completely empty and inert and is in lovely condition for a battlefield recovered one.
The plug was recovered from around the village of Plota near Prokhorovka on the battlefield at Kursk 1943 in Russia
