This is a friction plate from clutch, steering or brake assembly used to transmit power/control within the drivetrain.

This part is in relic condition the middle plate is loose the part heavly rusted but complete and has been carefully cleaned and is unusual to find from the battlefield as it is only thin metal normally rotted away.The plate is 9 inches in diameter, it is ideal for display or any military collection.
The plate is from German sdkfz 251 half track which was recovered near the village of Plota, close to Prokhorovka, on the battlefield of Kursk in 1943 the site of the largest tank battle of the war and the last major German offensive on the Eastern Front in Russia. It comes with an 2x A5 laminated information cards with diagram card.
