Fantastic condition long ARGUS pipework section from a engine of German Junkers ju88 night fighter of 4./NJG 3 B4+OA shot down by return fire from a RAF Lancaster bomber on 25th April 1945 in Norway
This is a fantastic condition completely as used condition engine pipework section the connector is numbered and it is a famous ARGUS maker marked connector and has its very nice original colours. The hose is complete with no damage other then at one end where it ripped of the engine in the crash it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection it is 14 inches long and half inch wide.
This item includes 2 x A5 laminated information cards, featuring details of the crash site and current photographs of the area. The part comes from a long-held private collection, with pieces originally recovered many years ago by a dedicated enthusiast who personally visited crash sites, uncovering surface relics or excavated wrecks. These parts are now being offered to the public for the first time.

This nightfighter, based at Kjevik, was shot down by RAF Lancaster bomber of 463.Squadron RAAF at 23:01pm on that night. The burning Ju88 crashed near by the farm Åmland. The badly burnt bodies of the crew were found the next day. Feldwebel [Flight Sergeant] Kurt Gross. a Unteroffizier [Sargeant] Reinhard Johnsen. Feldwebel [Flight Sergeant]. Otto Müller.
The Lancaster, RA542 code JO-Z, was also badly hit by the Junkers "Schräge Musik",and F/O A Cox had to make a forced landing at Sätenäs airport in Sweden.
