This is a electrical component a transformer/coil unit from the inside of the fuselage of the bomber shot down during the battle of the Britain.
The unit is not complete it is missing its top cover which is mag allow made with original black paintwork remains. On the back it is maker marked with part numbers and a bit of damage with pitting but nothing to bad it was damaged by the impact of the crash it is in nice solid condition it has been very nicely cleaned with some of ts original colours and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 3 inches long by 3 inches wide in size. The part is from German Dornier Do17 Z-3 bomber work number 3458, shot down on the 15th September 1940 and crashed at Combwell near Gouldhurst in Kent during the battle of Britain.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with map and diagram.
