This is a late war made dated 1943 German collied steel 15cm SFH 18 howitzer shell case with a few original markings on the base can be seen on it is complete brass primer.The case is in nice solid condition for a steel case battlefield recovered with some rust holes and some damage but nothing bad it has been very nicely cleaned perfect to display or any collection. The shell case was recovered near the village of Honsfield in the Losheim gap attacked by the 6th SS Panzer Army on the 16th December 1944 during the Ardennes forest offensive in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944-45.. The shell case comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards and map.
