This is a rare to find recognisable part from the very famous German rocket t is a control linkage or lever from rear section of the rocket at the side of the engine.
The part still retains some of its original colour, though it is rusty and in relic condition. The piece was torn off by the impact of the explosion and crash, but despite its relic state, it remains solid and has been carefully cleaned. It is perfect for display or any collection and measures approximately 11 inches in length. This is a rare addition for any collection. The part was recovered from the crash site of German V2 rocket fired on 18th March 1945 it went off target and crashed near village of Ightham near Sevenoaks in Kent which is now incident 1045. The part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures and all the details of the rocket.
