Complete German Wehrmacht 1st grade shooter Shield with braid remains for Army Marksman’s Lanyard, recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo in 6th Army pocket during Battle of Stalingrad 1942-43
This is a complete German Wehrmacht 1st grade shooter Shield for Army Marksman’s Lanyard that was recovered from the site where German soldiers of the 6th Army where fighting in Stalingrad. The badge is in very nice relic but solid condition aluminium made and still most of its original colour, the center of the eagle and the swastika is still there and is clear to see and complete even with remains of the braid attached to the back and on the back it has all of its pins it has been very well cleaned and is a rare find from the battlefield.The badge was recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo which was in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad from 1942-1943 in Russia.The badge comes with A5 laminated information card.
