This is a chassis-mounted suspension travel stop [bump stop] which on the rubber stop has a original maker marking which is the German foundry mark where it was made.

This part is in relic condition but lovely solid condition with some original red undercoat paintwork clear to see also with some shiny weld remains.The part is complete and has been carefully cleaned and does have a battle damage split in the neck of the panel it is 9 inches long by 5 inches wide and is ideal for display or any military collection.
The plate is from German sdkfz 251 half track which was recovered near the village of Plota, close to Prokhorovka, on the battlefield of Kursk in 1943 the site of the largest tank battle of the war and the last major German offensive on the Eastern Front in Russia. It comes with an 2x A5 laminated information cards with diagram card.
