British fuel can or better-known jerry can with yellow-sand camouflage paintwork date 1943 recovered from Monte Cassino the Italian battlefield of 1944.
This is a British fuel can or better-known jerry can which is is dated 1943 and maker marked.The can which is in semi relic condition lightly rusty all over but with no rust holes that can be seen with most of its yellow-sand camouflage paintwork. The top still opens and closes and also locks as well. The can with all its maker markings and an unusual maker stamp W D and arrow of which all can be seen nice and clear it has been very well cleaned it is very solid not braking up or falling apart a nice example of this can battlefield recovered.The can was recovered from Monte Cassino the Italian battlefield of 1944. The item was recovered many years ago and had been in a local museum since which closed down in 2015 and comes with A5 laminated information card.
