British 13pdr Mk.II field gun brass case, 1916 dated.
interesting to know that the first British artillery round fired on the Western front was by No.4 gun of E battery Royal Horse Artillery on 22nd August 1914, using a 13pdr gun.
The case is in reasonable condition with just a couple of small dents/marks.
