A fantastic British 13-Pounder 9cwt anti-aircraft gun brass shell case, retaining incredible original paint and stencilling to the base. The case is dated 1918 and is fitted with a 1916-dated primer, making it an excellent First World War artillery piece.
The case is in good condition overall, with an attractive original patina that has been left untouched. The surviving paint and clear base markings make this a particularly desirable and highly displayable example.
