This is a blown apart section of German 7.5cm Leig 18 artillery shell fragment part of the projectile steel outer case which has blown apart after being fired it has, bent and ripped metal section from the side wall of a shell blown apart from an explosion. The section still has a lot of original colour and black paintwork remains it is rusty but solid and it has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any military collection and is 7 half inches long by 3 half inches wide in size. The fragment was recovered from the River Meuse at Sedan from the May 1940 Battle of France. It comes with an A5 laminated information card.
