Very rare battle damaged German M34 Luftschutz Air Défense Steel Helmet used on the front line, worn by soldier of the Volkssturm, recovered on the Seelow Heights, battle of Berlin in April 1945 .

This is a very rare to find battlefield recovered a German soldiers M34 steel helmet used on the front lines most were worn by soldiers of the Volkssturm like this one which was mostly likely worn by a Volksstrurm home guard soldier.The helmet which is in relic condition also with some battle damage impact cracks and dents with a hole in the top of it. The helmet has a fair bit of rust with rust holes and damage. It is a solid piece which is not breaking up or falling apart. The helmet does not have any of its leather liner also with no real paintwork remains but it has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The helmet which was worn by a soldier as part of the last ditch defence of the Reich and was recovered on the Seelow Heights part of the opening battle of Berlin in April 1945. The helmet comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards.
