This is a rare find from the battlefield a Austro-Hungarian Army soldiers model 1910 shovel head used by all ranks of soldiers in the Army. The head, which is missing its wooden handle, is in very nice solid condition. It has cleaned up well. It is a bit pitted and rusty from being buried but is a nice example and is perfect for display or any collection. The shovel was recovered in the Alps mountains on the Italian front battlefield of 1915-1918.
