This is a aluminium and steel made structure part with surface rust on the steel part. The part which has no real paint work remains left still with some original colour on the aluminium part it is still very solid and not braking up or falling apart and has been very well cleaned the part is 5 inches long by 3 inches wide in size and a very rare one for display or any collection and a very rare to find from this famous rocket. The part comes German V1 rocket Doodlebug which was fired at Manchester on Christmas eve 24th December 1944. The part comes with a A5 laminated information sheet with pictures.

This rocket fell short and crashed on Howden Moor about 5 miles west of Stocksbridge. It was Christmas Day before anyone got to the site. The people first at the scene found white deposits around a crater that still had fumes rising from it.
