This is a group of 4 airframe sections and engine parts which are in relic, rusty condition but still with some original paintwork also with original colours. The parts still with some dirt attached from the recovery. The parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and have been nicely cleaned but might clean up more with effort they are in nice solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 4-10 inches long and come with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures of the ace who shot it down.

The parts come from RAF Wellington bomber DF666 shot down on 16th August 1942 and crashed at Rozendaal near Arnhem by German ace Oberleutnant Manfred Meurer.The bomber of 156 squadron was returning from a bombing mission to Dusseldorf and was attacked and shot down by a Messerschmitt 110-night fighter of (Stab III./NJG 1) flown by the ace.

When the bomber crashed the entire crew perished, they were.
