2.5cm Flak Hotchkiss 38(f) anti aircraft gun - French ammunition box captured and re used by the Germans in Normandy - fantastic German label. Found in Normandy fair in 2022.

Originally intended as an export model due to being refused by the French military for its slow rate of fire, was finally kept for service due to the worsening situation in Europe in 1938 - a few hundred were captured by the Germans and put into service as the 2.5cm Flak Hotchkiss 38(f). The box is in great overall condition with metal closing straps and split pins at either end and a fantastic label to the front. One leather hinge has come lose from the fixing screws.
