This is a rare find relic from the London Blitz it is a tail fin from a SD10 cluster bomb.The SD 10 (Sprengbombe Dickwandig 10) was a German WWII 10kg fragmentation bomb, often used as a fin-stabilized submunition dropped in cluster containers (AB 250 or AB 500) to attack personnel, unarmored vehicles, and aircraft. These "thick-walled" bombs were fragmentation-focused, featuring high explosive charges and often painted olive green with red stripes

The tail fin is nearly complete with all fins, though a few are bent or ripped from impact. It was blown off in the explosion after being dropped it is empty and inert, deactivated by condition it is solid and in relic condition, retaining some of its original paint inside but nothing outside. The metal is pitted and rusty but overall remains in very good condition for display or inclusion in any collection. It has been carefully cleaned and is perfect for display and a rare one one for any collection.
