    This is a rare wooden section from a British lee enfield rifle it is the bottom section of wood from underneath the barrel. The wood has snapped at both ends but its self is pretty much undamaged on the main part of the wood it has been used and does wear and tear from use but still has its original dark brown colour with no wood worm it has been nicely cleaned would be perfect for a restoration project or for display or any collection it is 20 inches long.The wood was found on a local fair on the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918
